[stag_dropcap font_size=”50px” style=”squared”]T[/stag_dropcap]he Saem Natural Condition Pore Deep Cleansing Oil Review.I have never used any cleansing oil before though I have used the buttery version makeup cleansing formula. I was actually planning to buy MAC cleansing oil for myself since long but during my holiday in Bali, I went head over heels for the korean brand- The Saem. I primarily got attracted to its aqua based makeup range. While checking out the counters ,swatching lipsticks and eyeshadows ,I spotted this black bottle of deep pore cleansing oil.
Moment I discovered that the cleansing action is powered by charcoal, bamboo and mud, I knew that this bottle will be traveling back to India with me.Cleaning your face with oil may seem contrary, but it is actually effective way to dissolve layers of make-up including waterproof makeup & grime without stripping natural oil from the skin . It leaves skin squeaky-clean and keep the tight feeling post using foaming cleansers at bay. Cleansing oils mostly suit all skin types, being excellent in removing impurities from pores of oily, breakout-prone skin whereas act as great conditioners for dry, dehydrated skin . The Saem Natural Condition Pore Deep Cleansing Oil Review
Brand Claims: The Saem Natural Condition Pore Deep Cleansing Oil maintains healthy skin by simultaneously providing it with nutrients and cleansing it with plant-derived ingredients.
The Saem Natural Condition Pore Deep Cleansing Oil comes in a black plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. To make the packaging travel safe, there is small plastic loop that locks the pump and thereby prevents any accidental spillage. I find this little lock very effective as I travelled all the way from Bali back to Chandigarh without any leakage .Although there is no back up or inbuilt mechanism to close the pump if you loose that tiny lock. However many brands like BBlunt,Innisfree have this kind of packaging for their pump bottles as they are safer then in built ones which sometimes does not lock firmly.
I am literally obsessed with the texture and fragrance of this cleansing oil.It is neither dense like oil nor thin like water , is somewhat moderately dense , black oil with scent of sea weeds which is exhilarating. I shake the bottle well before use so that active particles of charcoal, bamboo and mud that tend to settle down get mixed with oil completely.
I begin with small amount of the oil( usually one pump is enough for my full face makeup) and massage it all over my dry skin( face and neck) for about a minute or so. It emulsifies all my makeup ranging from waterproof mascara to red matte lipstick. Tiny charcoal granules dissolves up with oil and offer deep pore cleansing.Sometimes when I am wearing heavy makeup , I go for another half pump for my eyes. It does not sting my eyes nor it leaves oily film in eyes post rinse. After massage , I just rinse it out with water and rub out the oily layer with a clean muslin cloth or flannel. You can also consider following it up with regular face cleanser to remove the oily layer. It removes all makeup including the most stubborn waterproof mascara ,matte lip formulas, long wearing liners and eyeshadows.
I follow it up with a Tony Moly Cleansing Master to remove last traces of the makeup dissolved in oil from my skin completely. My skin feels neat, soft and glowing post cleansing. Since this oil is not just meant for cleansing but nourishing also, sometimes in leisure I massage it on my face couple of times and it leaves my skin incredibly soft and smooth after 7-8 minutes of massage.
Honestly I can’t think of anything I don’t like about the product except that it is not available at my location,India. The cleansing oil itself is fantastic and is very effective at removing makeup. It makes my skin really silky and soft.Oil based formula nourishes my combination dry skin , activated charcoal extracts out deep seating impurities and offers complete makeup cleansing.
VANILLA RATINGS 9.5/10
