Today in this post Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Bare Lights Review,Demo,Photos
I am going to share my review on this drugstore illuminator which is a recent addition to my vanity. I have been an avid user of all the highlighters launched by Revlon under Skinlights. My first was the loose powder form in dual chambered jar with brush . I bought it for my bridal vanity and used every bit of it. Another version on top of my head is Revlon Age correcting Face Illuminator. I loved the texture of the product but the packaging was demanding(brush on dispensing end ). However,I got really excited to see the renovated packaging and formula of Skinlights Face Illuminator which I bought in shade Bare Lights 100. Keep reading here for more!
Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator Bare Lights Review
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator is packaged in beige toned, sturdy plastic squeezable tube with a twist open black lid. Product is dispensed via fine nozzle which regulates the flow of liquid formula efficiently.Tube is slim and fits well in my clutch also. Bare Lights is Flesh, Neutral beige tone illuminator with predominant fine champagne shimmer. Closer in swatch, I can make out some gold particles also but the sheen on my cheeks given by the highlighter is visible champagne-ish. Other two shades available are Pink lights which is lavender pink shade for very fair girls,Peach lights which is peachy with shimmer will go well with most of Indian skin complexions.
Revlon Illuminator, Bare Lights is a runny lotion which has cream base.It spreads easily and blends well on my skin. When I compare it with NARS Illuminator Orgasm, I find it easier to use for its consistency. NARS Orgasm illuminator is water based, takes time to get absorbed. This being cream based has expedite absorption and moisturizing feel.
Revlon Face Illuminator is very light weight and does not feel greasy on skin. My skin is combination dry but I feel it should work equally good on Oily skin also.A single gentle squeeze on tube fetches me amount enough to be used on both my cheek bones. For the soft natural glow, I love to use it on bony prominences of my face also.Unlike other two liquid highlighters I have been using before , Revlon Bare Lights being flesh toned do not interfere with color of my foundation. So it can be mixed with foundation for overall illuminated demeanor. Though I love Iridescent Shimmer less highlighters more over shimmer ones for Full-On glow makeup. I love using it best on top of my foundation. I usually apply it on my cheek bones in small dots and then blend till it gets absorbed. For more sculpted look, I apply it on all bony prominences of my face -bridge of nose, brow bone, forehead and dome of chin.It its up my complexion with most natural looking luminous glow that lasts on me for 5+ hours. The best thing about this highlighter is that even towards the end of the day shimmer does not gain prominence.
PRICE:850 INR(Buy it online at Amazon.in for 140INR)
VANILLA RATINGS: 9.5/10
Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminator Bare Lights is brightening, flesh tone liquid. Fine shimmer particles reflect light and add gleaming glow to my complexion.Being sheer, it will work well on all skin complexions. Texture is easy to use and offers hassle free blending. It is not inexpensive but small amount of it will go long way. However, If you have active acne I will suggest not to use it mixed with foundation rather go for lot localized use. As shimmer tends to gain prominence on protruded acne /break outs which is not picturesque. It photographs really well with lit from within kind of glow.Liquid highlighters save from Pore prominent issues when compared with powder counterparts.I highly suggest it for dry skin beauties for the creamy ,grease free texture. Also if you are on hunt for most natural looking, fuss free everyday wear illuminator-This ends your search!!
