Today’s post is Priyanka Chopra Inspired Makeup Tutorial . I fell in love with Priyanka Chopra’s recent makeup look, especially the mermaid colors on her eyes, created by makeup artist Pati Dubroff for Baywatch premiere. I just went through my entire collection of eyeshadow palettes to find the right shade of eyeshadows. The whole process of picking the right colors and creating makeup look similar to Baywatch star was creatively  fulfilling. I also faced the challenge of not having royal blue mascara which  Priyanka was wearing on her lashes. And I ended up inventing  little trick while creating this look on how to get colored mascara effect on lashes without using one. ( I am wearing this look in this video here)

Priyanka Chopra Inspired Makeup Tutorial

I started with eye makeup first as I was intending to use MAC Crushed Metallic Eyeshadow Pigment so some fall out was inevitable. So not to spoil my foundation later , I chose to begin with eyeshadows rather. I used purple and green cream glitters as base on outer and inner side of my lids from NYX Cream Glitter Pallet Surreal 04. I have this palette from quite some time but barely used it as I was not into glitter makeup looks earlier .I think I bought it because I loved the idea of colored glitter creams back then ( ##??@@)

On inner half of my upper eyelid , I applied Catrice Eyeshadow Fisherman’s Wharf which is incredibly gorgeous turquoise blue shade almost similar to Priyanka’s eyeshadow on inner lid. On outer half I applied lovely royal blue eyeshadow from Gosh Quattro Eyeshadow Q 33 and topped it up with MAC Crushed Metallic Pigment Butterfly party with wet brush.  Gosh is UK based makeup brand that sells at Superdrug stores. I picked this quad long time back from London , never shed it for its bright toucan-ish eyeshadow colors. On my lower lid, I applied Catrice Fisherman’s wharf in inner 1/4th and royal blue eyeshadow on outer 3/4th with thin yet dense eyeshadow brush.

After I coated my lashes with Maybelline The Falsies Push up Drama Mascara, I applied Nyx Glitter cream in purple on inner side of lashes . Just before it could set, I dusted royal blue eyeshadow from Gosh eyeshadow quad to have royal blue color on my lashes . Since I don’t have blue mascara, I devised this little trick to create look as close to Peecee’s Baywatch premier look as possible. In case you are interested to buy blue mascara , Lakme Eyeconic Mascara has blue version which looks really pretty on lashes.  For my Face Makeup, I did my regular base makeup  Primer – Concealer- Foundation – Powder routine with MAC orange corrector as new addition that I applied after priming my face with Natio Ageless Skin Illuminating Primer. It works great in hiding darkness in my under eye area and around corners of my mouth. I have used L’Oreal Paris Rouge Magique Lipstick – Secret date on my lips which is gorgeous rose pink shade for every day wear although Priyanka is wearing slightly mauve toned lipstick with velvety matte finish.Here is the complete list of the products I used for the FOTD
