In this post NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Copenhagen Review,Swatch,Photos , I will be reviewing vintage wine shade from Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams i.e Copenhagen (SMLC20). I had used & loved NYX Matte Lip Creams in past also but then there was sad departure of NYX from India. Now when Nyx has made its way back on Nykaa.com , I picked up two shades Prague and Copenhagen which were on my wishlist since 2014. Using Copenhagen, I felt that lip formula has been improvised  which now feels less dry on lips. Recently I used this shade for creating Gold Eyes with Bold Lips Makeup Look also , I still have couple of ways in my mind to wear this lovely shade.

My Review 

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream is creamy lip product housed in a color coded 8ml tube. This lip gloss like packaging has medium length wand with doe foot applicator . Base of the tube bears the name of the shade distinctly.Shade Copenhagen is bold , vintage wine shade that tops my list of favorite fall colors. It will suit all skin complexions and compliments golden undertones of warm Indian skin complexions.

Texture of NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream is incredible soft and applies smoothly on my slightly dry lips. It feels light weight and moderately hydrating on lips.I smell sweet scent during product application which does not linger.Formula gives intense color pay off and I get complete opacity in single swipe.This shade will apply opaque even on dark pigmented lips .

Formula applies creamy but then sets to semi- matte finish after some time. Unlike matte formulas,neither it accentuates appearance of fine lip lines nor the products settles in them . It transfers but does so minimally. Lip cream lasts for 4-5 hours on my lips without any conspicuous feathering or bleeding. However , I loose the color completely after a meal. Lip cream tends to spread during eating and smears entire mouth area which looks bad especially with bold shades like Copenhagen. Otherwise it fades uniformly, leaving my lips stained .

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream, Copenhagen is gorgeous wine shade that will look pretty on all skin complexions. Emollients rich formula is quite forgiving on dry lips despite matte finish. If you have dry lips and drear wearing matte lipsticks ,you should try couple of shades from NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams.Intense pigmentation of theseMatte Lip Creams steal the deal from all other matte lip creams counterparts in market. They are budget friendly but do not last long on lips considering matte formula. Recommend !!
