Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub Review, Price in India
I am going to share my thoughts on this Body Scrub named after Italian delicacy Tiramisu from the house of Nyassa. I have not explored this brand much till now. This is the first product I bought from Nyassa. I love eating Tiramisu and I think Leela’s Goa Italian Restaurant makes it best. Other than that I love my shower products smell great which I expected from the name -Tiramisu. Another reason for opting this body scrub was the Raw Brown Sugar as the main exfoliant. I tend to develop skin irritation with sea salt based body scrubs. Sugar Scrubs are more gentle and less abrasive when compared to salt scrubs. With all this said, Here is the review on Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub!!

Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub Review
AS CLAIMED BY BRAND
Now a delicious treat from Italy in a jar! Smell the rich, deep, complex notes of Italian amaretto espresso, cocoa powder, and heavy cream. Scrub away and you might be tempted to lick it off as well.
But wait-Indulge in a Tiramisu, the dessert we mean, while you give your body some loving tender scrubbing!! A sweet way for a soft skin starts with Nyassa’s exotic body scrubs that exfoliates, polishes and moisturizes you skin. The Tiramisu body scrub with an extravagantly chocolaty smell is a must have body exfoliator, offering the right amount of scrubbing it needs.
The real cocoa butter and raw brown cane sugar in the scrub makes your skin softer and smoother. Cocoa butter has been called the ultimate moisturizer, and has been used to keep skin soft and supple for centuries. It is one of the most stable, highly concentrated natural fats known, and melts at body temperature so that it is readily absorbed into the skin. This butter is often recommended for treatment of extreme dryness.
Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub is packaged in a big plastic , transparent jar with a twist open rose gold tin lid. Lid has been labelled beautifully depicting the main ingredient of the product inside. The jar itself is housed in very good quality cardboard box. Packaging looks and feels luxe, hefty ( apt for a body scrub) and attractive. I just wished that for that price and box, Nyassa should have inserted a little spatula to scoop out the product .
Open the jar, there lies well homogenized ,brown granular dry paste of body scrub.Body scrub has strong sweet fragrance of cocoa and coffee which is bit overpowering and slightly artificial for my taste. Fragrance tones down within few seconds and does not linger on me. Though,It leaves my shower room scented with sweet cocoa fragrance.
Since it is dry paste, I scoop out product and mix it with small amount of water by gently rubbing between palms of hands. Then I massage it on my body in gentle circular motions with more focus on dry areas of my body like elbows and feet.Though raw brown sugar particles are not chunky granular still I go light with pressure to avoid scratches.
The raw sugar cane particle starts dissolving forming the milky, non soapy layer on my skin. Eventually they dissolve completely and activated milky scrub layer gets absorbed in the skin. Nyasia Tiramisu Scrub gets easily rinsed out leaving my skin soft, smooth, moisturized ,non greasy and lightly fragrant.
My skin is very dry. Despite this being one of the best moisturizing scrub I have ever bought, I need to layer up my skin with moisturizing lotion. However,Oily skin girls will find this scrub self sufficient in all the three departments-cleansing,exfoliating and moisturizing.I have been using this scrub since past few weeks now. My skin looks cleansed and it glows. Once a week , exfoliation with Tiramisu helps me get rid off the dead skin build up.
VANILLA RATINGS 7.5/10
Nyassa Tiramisu Body Scrub is moderate exfoliator that cleanse and moisturize. Raw Cane Sugar particles are non abrasive but give potent exfoliant action on rough areas of body. It is not heavy duty exfoliator, so some of you may not find it as good for areas like rough heels. It is enriched with goodness of cocoa butter that deep moisturize fresh cleansed skin.It has not irritated my skin or lead to any rash or burning sensation. My only grouse is the fragrance which I find artificial and strong. Plus I would have loved it more with a binder base(creamy/oily) as some dry sugar chunks always fall off while mixing with water .
