I recently got pile of Montagne Jeunesse pouch masks as gift from one of my friend who was traveling back from USA. I once used Montagne Jeunesse masks quite frequently when I was living in UK for some part of my life. Back in India, I truly missed these drugstore buddies who were my Spa at home in Swindon,UK. I was quite thrilled to see them back in my face mask shelf and enjoying using them as part of my skincare these days. I have already reviewed Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel Off Masque on blog which was peeling mask. Among all Montagne Jeunesse masks I have at the moment, I picked up this 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac as clay masks are particularly handy during summers /monsoons to tone the skin and squeeze out deep seated impurities.

My Review
Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Pac is a pastel blue clay mask housed in vividly labelled paper pouch bag meant for single use. I tore open the pouch easily from the small notch at upper right corner of the pouch and squeezed out the clay mask. Unlike its’s name, it does not have smell of sea / seaweeds rather has scent of freshly squeezed lemon juice which feels quite refreshing in this summer season.Texture of Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Pac is creamy clay which spreads easily on my cleansed skin. It has perfect cream like consistency that can be applied thin or thick without any dripping.
I applied this mask all over my cleansed face with a clean plastic spatula. I let it stay on my face for 15-20 min and then rinse it out with water. Since it is claimed as hard drying clay mask , I expected it to dry down to hard clay with ridges but it dries up with certain residual creaminess.It comes out easily with water and leaves my skin squeaky clean. It visibly tightens the pores and my complexion looks clean & clear .It didn’t cause any untoward skin reaction. I follow it up with my regular morning skincare routine. It is recommended for combination to oily skin but works equally good for my dry skin as it does not dry out my skin .
Single pouch gave me two full face & neck application which makes these pouch masks quite economical. One thing that particularly impressed is the shelf life of opened pouch. One pouch of this mask survived contact with air for approx two months as I almost forgot about it lying on my shower shelf. When I used it again,face mask was as fresh as it was when I opened it for the first time.

Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Pac is decent clay mask that works well on all skin types. I can see the reduced pore size especially on my nose and upper cheek area after single application. Packaging is easy to operate and travel friendly. I am truly impressed the way mask retains its freshness even in opened pouch for 8+ weeks.On top of this , it has benefits of mud,seaweeds and lavender flowers.Recommended for ultimate skin cleansing !!
