In my recent Product Empties video, I shared finishing up Maybelline Candy Wow Raspberry Baby Lips. I was planning to buy a shade or two from Maybelline’s new bright out loud – baby lips collection but I spotted three new shades in already existing collection of five candy wow baby lips. I was actually thrilled to see peach toned tubes so resorted to swatch them before making a purchase. Among three shades added to Candy Wow collection, Cinnamon is light peach color,Grapefruit is deep peach in color whereas blackberry is violet plum toned cold – I loved Grapefruit for its warm, earth toned color that perks up my medium skin complexion in most natural way. My Review

Maybelline Candy Wow Baby Lips is chubby balm crayon housed in attractive color coded retractable packaging. Maybelline Candy Wow Baby Lips looks like the grown up version of original baby lips. However balm crayon has pointed end unlike flat applicator end of regular baby lips. Since baby lips are very popular among college students, this kind of fun packaging with chic fonts looks quite appealing.

Maybelline Candy Wow Grapefruit is gorgeous peach shade that adds just a hint of peach shade on my lips. Since my lips are slightly pigmented , I get decent color pay off in 3-4 swipes. Grapefruit is beautiful earthy peach color that will look good on most of the skin tones but will look exceptionally good on warm medium, Indian skin complexions. It has mild fruity scent and no flavor. Candy wow baby lips is moisturizing and swipe on lips giving sheer color without any drag.Texture feels light weight on lips given to its balmy formula.

Crayon melts on my lips adding color with hint of shine which is slightly more glossy for a balm product. It glazes fine lip lines and If you desire full bloom color, this formula will not ditch you by accumulating in fine lines. Albeit, the color gets saturated after couple of swipes and will not intensify further. On my lips this lives for 2 hours in full color though shine starts fading off much earlier. I lose it almost completely with meals but it leaves my lips hydrated and soft .

Although packaging is different, formula is almost like original baby lips in pigmentation domain but I find these new version less shiney and more balmy when compared to original baby lips. Packaging is definitely more stylish although they hold half the product in comparison to regular baby lips. I especially like candy wow more for its packaging which not only looks chic but has a gap between balm crayon and the outer case which keeps some room for the melted product which will smear out on balm case in original baby lips.

I am a huge fan of Maybelline Baby Lips !! I always have one of baby lips version on my work desk, in my purse and on my bed side. I absolutely adore candy color inspired jumbo version of baby lips and repurchased this peachy- grapefruit shade once I ended using up raspberry shade.

Maybelline Candy Wow Baby Lips applies smoothly is Vit E enriched , non sticky formula that keeps lips hydrated for long period of time. Candy Wow Grapefruit is beautiful earthy peach shade that suits all skin complexions, medium Indian skin complexions particularly. I don’t have dry chappy lips as such but wearing baby lips regularly refines all over skin texture of my lips.My lips feel smooth and softer after regular use.
