Lush BIG Sea Salt Shampoo Review
I believe in pampering myself every once in a while whether it means indulging in a doughnut or spending a day in spa. One part of my body that I pampered least rather subject it to abuse of heat, dust, dyeing and sun without much care was my hair. There are million other ways we actually damage our hair. To counteract the damage, choosing right hair products is extremely crucial. Recently when I got my hair coloredI,I hauled different hair conditioning and spa products. But one hair product that has lived my expectations since last 6 years is Lush BIG Sea Salt Shampoo. This is my third jar and the only reason for this meagre number is LUSH has closed down in India.
Current Condition of my hair: My hair is fine, lack volume and gets easily greasy along the roots while my hair ends are very dry. I have shoulder length(little longer) hair which are otherwise lustrous and soft but volume less. Building on volume was the main reason I got hold of Lush BIG shampoo for the first time. But Lush BIG is not just volume, it is much more!!

Lush Big Sea Salt Shampoo Review
Lush Big is salty white granular shampoo housed in signature Lush black jars. It looks like a face scrub or body scrub rather than a shampoo.Big has the fragrance of sea which slowly dissolves to reveal citrus notes which are predominant once you massage product on scalp. Some of you may find the very idea of rubbing the granular sea salts on scalp weird. But it actually helps in getting rid of all build up and grime. It also helps to get rid of dandruff patches in most gentle way. I take a dollop of the product, mix it with some water and massage it gently focussing on my hair roots. It lathers up really well and smells lime.
It is easy to rinse concoction which apparently looks otherwise due to grains of sea salt. I always use it on my hair roots and never on my hair ends. My hair are dry towards the end , Big Shampoo can dry them further. Also volume it creates in hair ends make them look frizzy. So I massage in roots, let it sit for a minute or two to achieve good volumizing effect and then rinse it out.I towel dry my hair afterwards and get good pouf ,naturally bouncy hair with visible lift in my hair roots. I use it Lush Big twice a week with my regular shampoo.
VANILLA RATINGS 9/10
I highly recommend Lush BIG Shampoo for those seeking to build volume in their limp hair. Oily scalp + hair will love this as BIG washes out oil completely. For those with hair like mine- Greasy scalp and dry shafts , I will suggest using BIG on hair roots. If used on Hair shafts,BIG can go really messy turning hair tangled and like Bird’s nest. Beside volume I love the clarifying action of this product. It has the infusion of toothed wrack seaweed which softens the hair. Lemon juice adds up to shine of hair. It has SLS.Recommended with oodles of Vanilla
