Today’s post is L’Oreal Paris Moisturizing Micellar Water Review
As an admitted beauty obsessed woman, testing out products is one of my favorite pastimes. Nothing sticks around for long with me !! However there are few basic products which maintain their grounds on my beauty shelf almost like ever. They are refreshing mists and micellar water although brands and formulas keep changing. Micellar Water looks and feels like water, but has microscopic oil molecules called micelles suspended in soft water that attach to dirt & grime on skin like a magnet. Micellar water is no rinse formula so doesn’t require actual water to rinse out the face. I have tried Avene,Vichy,Maybelline, Deborah and Bioderma micellar waters before , Vichy being my top favorite among these. In this post , I have shared my review on L’Oreal Paris Moisturizing Micellar Water which I have almost used up. So here is the complete review for you.

L’Oreal Paris Moisturizing Micellar Water Review
Brand Claims:New Micellar Technology.Unique micellar molecules act like a magnet to remove makeup residue and impurities from skin thoroughly.easy and gentle wipe with cotton pad. No rinsing is required. It comes without any alcohol, fragrance, oil.3 in 1 Actions- Cleanse, Remove Makeup and Soothe.Watery texture, skin is left clean, pure and hydrated.
L’Oreal Paris Moisturizing Micellar Water is clear water solution housed in transparent, blue tinted plastic bottle ( 95ml) with pink flip open lid. It is an alcohol free formula that has no scent and feels super light when dabbed on skin. Before using this micellar water, I shake the bottle vigorously to activate the ingredients. On shaking, otherwise clear solution will turn frothy which means that the product is ready to be used as cleanser. I pour small amount of the product on cotton pad and then wipe it off all over my face to remove makeup and dirt. After pouring the micellar water, I usually press the cotton pad between my fingers so that the entire pad gets soaked uniformly.
It feels soothing on skin and removes grime from my face without any itching or irritation. As a makeup remover, it works decent to remove light, everyday makeup like BB cream , kajal or an eyeliner. However it fails to remove full face makeup and waterproof makeup completely. It literally struggles to loose waterproof mascara and lash glue. I have used micellar waters from – Vichy , Avene and Maybelline in past also. Somehow I felt that L’Oreal Micellar Water is mildest and under performer amongst all. In demo picture, I wiped and rubbed soaked cotton wool pad for up to 5 times to take out kohl, waterproof mascara and matte lipstick completely. It dries up in air without leaving any oily residues and is mildly hydrating . It has never lead to any kind of allergic reaction on my skin.
VANILLA RATINGS 6.5/10
L’Oreal Paris Moisturizing Micellar Water is non rinse, cleansing formula that comes in travel friendly packaging. Since it is a no-rinse formula ,you do not require to rinse your skin with water post cleansing your face with L’Oreal Paris Moisturizing Micellar Water. It has micellar molecules that attract impurities and makeup residues like magnet thereby cleansing skin in most gentle way. The water based cleanser cleanse, soothe and leaves skin hydrated which makes it perfect for all skin types.
However as makeup remover , it fails on full face makeup, kajal , eyeliners ,matte and waterproof makeup. If you are looking for everyday light makeup remover especially for sensitive skin this can be good option. Else I find it as good option to clean face during travel when regular water rinsing is difficult. Otherwise , I prefer L’oreal Paris Dual phased Eye and Lip Makeup Remover as my residual makeup remover over this micellar water.
