Today’s post is L’Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipstick Rouge a Porter Review,Swatch,Photos
Deepika Padukone was chosen as the New face of L’Oreal Paris this year and this collaboration has brought us 7 new, intense matte shades in L’Oreal Paris already existing and much acclaimed Moist Matte Lipstick range. I was keen to check out these newly introduced colors as I am a huge fan of L’oreal Moist Matte Lipsticks formula. Among the seven shades launched – Wine Marsala,Chocolate Biscous,Brown Sucre,Rouge a Porter,Plum Mannequin,Beige Couture and Vin D Fantasme namely , I picked Rouge a Porter from Nykaa.com which is pretty, warm peach with subtle earthy tones that quite compliments my Indian skin tone. Among the darker shades, I loved Wine Marsala and Vin D Fantasme which I find ultra- gorgeous for upcoming fall. I have been raving about prettiness of Rouge a Porter on my Instagram and also wore it in two of my Youtube videos . For more on this lipstick, keep reading

L’Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipsticks are housed in metallic rectangular case with reflective, gun-metal finish. Lipstick case has color coded square button which indicates the shade of lipstick inside and looks attractive too. Lipstick has standard retractable packaging and has colored sticker at base that bears the name and number of the lipstick- Rouge a porter 233 in this case.
L’Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipstick Rouge a Porter is gorgeous warm peach with subtle earthy tones that will suit fair to medium skin complexions. It is perfect for everyday wear , office wear and looks lovely when paired up with smokey eyes.In the FOTD pictures , I have paired it up with glam-reflective eye-makeup with MAC Peaches blush on my cheeks. For everyday wear, I just define my eyes with Kohl and use Rouge a Porter both on my cheeks & lips.
Texture of Rouge a Porter is similar to the Moist Matte Lipsticks I have tried earlier. It applies smoothly on lips without drag and gives intense pigmentation in single swipe. I get complete opacity on my slightly pigmented lips in just two swipes. It feels light and applies with touch of “moisture” on lips which I absolutely love. Lipstick sets to semi-matte finish with hint of shine. This is an ideal matte lip formula for dry lip/flaky lips as it does not dry out lips rather feels hydrating. Lipstick neither accentuate appearance of fine lip lines nor it clusters around flaky patches on dry lips. Given to semi matte finish, lipstick do not feather or bleed as such but it transfers on cups and cutlery (minimally though). It begins fading within 3-4 hours of application without any intermittent snacking while I lose it completely after full meal. Since its a matte formula, I recommend overnight hydration of lips with good lip balm followed by morning exfoliation for smooth uniform finish on lips.
VANILLA RATINGS 9.5/10
I have always been huge fan of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipsticks. L’Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipsticks ace in all the departments of good lipstick – be it the packaging, texture or finish . Formula wears beautiful on lips without any discomfort although it is not long lasting. Rouge a Porter is beautiful peachy brown shade that will suit fair to medium skin complexions. Other shades in collection except Beige Couture will look flattering on all Indian skin tones. Highly recommend checking these new shades by L’Oreal Paris !!
