L’oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold comes in retractable /twist out pen packaging. I really loved the older black magique pencil with fuchsia accents which is replaced by bolder chic golden labelling. L’oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold is jet black in color. It is almost as intense black as is New Maybelline Colossal Kajal. I get stroke of intense dark line in single pass with Magique Bold.Formula is creamy in texture and gentle on my waterline. You have to be bit cautious while applying this as crayon breaks easily if pressed hard. Creamy formula applies tug free on my lash lines/lids. It gives dark black, creamy finish with hint of sheen given to oil enriched formula. Once settled formula wears smudge free with full blown intensity on my lids for 9+ hours. However, it tends to smudge when I wear it in my waterline and lasts for up 5 hrs. It takes couple of minutes to settle and go budge proof so can be used to create smoldering/smokey eyes. It blends well and doe not look patchy. I usually take it out with L’Oreal Paris Gentle Eye and Lip Makeup remover. It is waterproof and does not flow/smears with water as such but definitely flows when rubbed in contact with water.
L’oreal Paris Kajal Magique Bold is bold black creamy kajal that applies smooth and wears fade proof/transfer proof for incredibly long time. I can see myself using it both for precise eye lining and creating smokey eyes. If you have New Maybelline Colossal Kajal Superblack , you can safely avoid this. Compared to previous version of Magique,Magique bold is definitely bolder black and lasts longer but has landed up with twice the price.
