My facial skin is combination-dry but my body skin is very dry & dryness gets accentuated in winters,however my feet are extremely dry all the year around. Therefore I always keep deeply moisturizing body creams handy.My collection of body moisturizers is now vast ranging from body sorbets to creamy lotions, body butters and body oils. Today I have come up with review of Olive Body Butter by The Body Shop. I buy one TBS Body Butter every year since past 5-6 years except in 2015 when I wanted to explore other options. But a good product will always attract you back !!  After Moringa,Strawberry,Brazil Nut –  I picked Olive Body Butter for 2016- 2017 winters.

My Review

The Body Shop Olive Body Butter is green tinted buttery cream packaged in a round plastic tub with twist open lid. All TBS Body Butter tubs are color coded hinting on the color and the fragrance of the product inside. I love the olive green tub of TBS Olive Body Butter which bears the beautiful label of olives on the lid. Olive body butter has butter-like texture which melts to cream on skin surface with gentle massage. It has mild aroma of olives which is quite refreshing but does not last long on me. However using this butter along with TBS Olive Shower Gel keeps my body scented for decent hours.

I scoop out decent amount of the product from jar and then massage it all over my body with more attention on slightly rough areas like my feet,knees,elbows and back. It immediately moisturize my skin and leaves my skin soft and smooth. There is a very thin residual layer of cream left on my skin after massage which eventually disappear as the formula penetrates deeper with time.

On regular use, my skin feels smooth,silky soft and it remains moisturized for longer hours. I tend to develop white residues on my feet towards the end of the day especially during winters. But,when I use TBS Body Butter in morning and at bedtime for my feet, they look nourished and pampered.

The Body Shop Olive Body Butter is green hued, subtle olive scented  body nourishing formula that is cruelty free and is devoid of GMO,phthalates and sulfates.Luxurious creamy-buttery formula which is rich in shea butter,babassu oil,olive oil and cocoa butter acts as effective skin emollient  and provides long lasting moisturisation. Jar packaging is safe to travel with and is convenient to use. It is a great pick for normal to dry body skin especially for winters. It appears expensive for that amount but single jar lasts long and quality is impeccable. Highly recommend!!
