Avene Eau Thermale Micellar Lotion Cleanser and Makeup Remover Review,Price inIndia
I am going to share this No rinse cleanser formula by Avene. I was keen to try this out since long. But the price of the full size product held me for buying it .Plus I was always dwindled choosing between Avene and Bioderma.Avenue Micellar Lotion made its way to me in a small 25ml sample size provided as GWP by Nykaa. Before I got this sample, I knew the attention this product has garnered from beauty community all over the world.Only micellar lotion I have tried before is one from Vichy(Review Here). I really loved the gentle non residual clean up offer by Micellar waters.I thought that I will not be able to review the product with this amount to test on blog but small bottle lasted long.So here I am with review on same.

Avene Eau Thermale Micellar Lotion Cleanser and Makeup Remover Review
AS CLAIMED BY BRAND
A new double action formula, with enhanced makeup removing power and hydrating action.
EFFECTIVE MAKE-UP REMOVAL:
Micellar cleansing agents capture impurities &Removes waterproof make-up
PRESERVES and PAMPERS the skin:
Naturally soothing properties of Avène Thermal Spring Water.Gentle emollient action from the cleansing agent (biomimetism of the hydrolipidic film).Increased hydration by trapping water in the surface layers of the skin
Avene Micellar Lotion 200ml is packaged in a transparent plastic bottle with white flip open lid. The small 25ml size sample bottle I received in Nykaa Winter Bag is the exact mini replica of her big sister. Packaging feels sturdy and easy to operate as the the flip lid shuts tight and guard the small dispensing opening firmly.
Micellar Lotion appears as clear water in bottle. I can see some froth only after vigorous shaking which disappears within second of putting bottle at rest.I prefer shaking the bottle before use though it is not indicated for I feel that little shaking activates the ingredients. I pour very small amount of the lotion on cotton pad. Only as much to have the other side of cotton pad dry. After I wipe my face with wet side of cotton, I use the dry side to remove the layer of leftover liquid.
AS MAKEUP REMOVER
I find it mild yet extremely gentle eye-makeup remover. It lifts off all kind of Eye-makeup but the waterproof one. Perhaps,It is not formulated to work on silicone-based or long-wearing makeup. cannot trust it as the only cleanser for makeup removal on a lazy evening. But after I wash my face, I go extra mile to remove the residual makeup with Avene Thermal Micellar Lotion. So As a Makeup remover, it wages fairly well in conjunction with other cleansers.
As a morning face cleanser, I love using it as the only cleanser sometimes. It cleans up the layers of oil and dirt without leaving any oily residues. It also tones up my skin surface. I find it extremely gentle on my sensitive-acne prone skin. It does not leave my skin squeaky clean, but I love the refreshing clean feel that it leaves on my skin.
It is great No-rinse Micellar water which cleanses skin effectively. It removes residual make-up without being harsh on my sensitive skin. Being devoid of preservatives, oil, alcohol and soap , it feels extremely gentle on my irritated skin.It has Hyaluronic acid which hydrates while the chamomile smoothens up sensitive red acne spots. It has the goodness of Avène Thermal Spring Water. It feels incredibly light on my skin and leaves it hydrated and delicately fragrant.
VANILLA RATINGS 8.5/10
It has become my bed table essential. Although I will not use it as the only makeup remover as the ingredients are not potent enough to remove the stubborn/waterproof makeup especially on my eyes.Only downside is that it does not take out my Eye makeup completely .It is paraben free and one of the most civilized makeup remover I ever tried. It neither stung my eyes nor flared up sensitive skin issues. It is not cheap but you need very little amount for everyday use. Recommended!!
